Today is all about Google. They dropped a ton of news at I/O. First, Firebase is becoming a unified app platform. Android is getting Instant Apps. There is a bunch of new information for Android including more details of the N-release and Android Studio. Firebase Analytics are being added to Google Analytics. This would normally be enough, but the rest of the news is huge. Allo, Duo and Assistant are the big news. Allo is a new smart messaging platform. Duo is Google’s take on FaceTime. Assistant is the new version of Google Now, and it is behind a lot of their new technology.
