Leading our day is an excellent post on First Round Review. They talk about practical frameworks for beating burnout. This topic gets talked about a lot, but burnout is very real for a lot of people. Google Cloud Platform announced the beta availability of Ruby on Google App Engine. Honestly, this feels like a late add-on and might just be there to provide “completeness” in their offering. Avinash Kaushik talks about tracking ad blocker metrics with Google Analytics. Even if you are not interested in tracking those metrics, there is always something to learn when he writes.
A minor editorial note, I will be at a conference next week, so Geek Reading may not be published regularly.
As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
