Citusdata starts our day with their announcement about “unforking” from PostgreSQL. They have been doing some very interesting work, so getting their technology back into the fold will be a good thing in the long term. On the Google Developers Blog, they talk about the Google API Console. This is just one step closer to a better, unified, user interface for their developers, and is a good move in the fight against Amazon. Allan Kelly gives us an excellent post about salvaging old code by using unit tests.
