Today’s top story is a sad one. Marvin Minsky, one of the fathers and innovators of AI, has passed away. The post by Philip Greenspun is one of the best that I could find. Given that it is yet another day, we have yet another security issue. The Next Web reports on another Uber issue where drivers’ social security and tax information was exposed. While Uber is a great service, their data practices definitely need some improvement. Microsoft Azure announced the first technical preview of the Microsoft Azure Stack. It will be interesting to see how this competes with all of the other offerings.
