The big story of the day is the new Slack Platform launch. With this launch and the associated development fund, Slack is trying to position itself as a business platform to build solutions on top of. It will be interesting to watch how this really evolves. Mozilla now gives us more control over our data in their private browsing mode of Firefox. They are really positioning Firefox as the customizable browser when compared to IE and Chrome. Amazon AWS announces the availability of encrypted EBS boot volumes. The basic idea is to help people using EC2 meet their compliance and auditing needs.
