Today we start with two excellent career oriented posts. First, at PagerDuty they talk about why VPs (or any managers) should care about engineer burnout. This is a very real issue that people try to sweep under the rug frequently. On the Agile zone at DZone, there is a post about why the author will never be an expert. The idea is that “there is always someone who knows more”, and this probably applies to most of us. In an interesting view of some NFL data, gutterstats presents some cool information on NFL official ball placement. The post has some solid data processing and visualizations.
As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
