There is a varied selection of articles today, but I am going to focus on the job and startups. On O’Reilly Radar, there is a very good article about flattening organizations. More importantly, they address the fact that there is always an implicit hierarchy and you need to reconcile that with your organization structure. Mark Suster at Both Sides of the Table gives a different take on the recent NY Times article on how many angels a startup should have. Mark’s writing is always worth reading, so definitely read it at some point. Google Research presents some information on the CS pipeline and diversity.
As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
