Google Research leads the day with their post about Project Bloks. This is an interesting project but I am not sure how much impact this has on how people eventually learn programming. I am not a researcher in this area, so I am curious to see what the results are like. On the Android Developer Blog, we get the announcement of the availability of the Awareness APIs. For any mobile developer, this set of APIs can be super useful. At Culture of Development we get an excellent post on building your first thing with WebAssembly. My reason for highlighting this is more because I am starting to see a rising interest in WebAssembly, so we should all keep an eye on this trend.
As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
