There was not a lot of news, but there are plenty of good articles to read. First, we get a few security articles about the same-site cookie attribute. Both chloe and Sjoerd Langkemper talk about how same-site can prevent CSRF. On Flowing Data, we get a visualization that shows how much better Stephen Curry was than anyone else. I am not a huge basketball fan, but this is one visualization that makes the differences clear.
