Another security issue leads our day. Arstechnica reports on a bunch of stolen certificates that allow hackers to bypass code-signing. It is an interesting story and makes you wonder about the real benefits of code-signing. On Amazon Big Data we get a great post about analyzing time series data in real-time with AWS Lambda, Amazon Kinesis and DynamoDB. It is very cool to see people put these tools together in interesting ways. Steve Van Bael gives us some excellent advice in reading about the software that you use. If you do not read enough about your tools and frameworks, you are probably not getting nearly as many benefits from them as you really could.
