Starting off our week, we get more information on the IRS data breach from Krebs on Security. About 390K more people have had their data exposed, bringing the total to near 700K. VentureBeat reports on Microsoft killing Project Astoria, their tool for porting Android apps to Windows 10. This is definitely disappointing, but we will see how this develops further. On DZone, we get a good article on mastering each skill before moving on to the next shiny thing. “Master” is a bit strong of a word here, but you really do need to do more than a quick tutorial to ensure that you have learned something.
As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
