Basically, he pokes holes in the Buffer salary information, not from the openness perspective, but concerns about employee value and other issues. Kent Beck also has a post about “pricing” programmers, more from the idea that he does not know what is most appropriate. On Both Sides  of the Table, Mark Suster talks about staying focused on your goals and not listening to your critics.
