Geek Reading July 13, 2015

We have another slow weekend of news today. First, the Army National Guard announced that it had a data breach. This does not sound as bad as the last government breach, but it is still bad. MIT News reports on a program that fixes old code faster than “expert engineers”. The ideas in the project sound interesting, but I will believe the details when I see this in action. Flowing Data shows us a map of just the time zones. Without the typical map boundaries, you can see how weird the time zones really are.
