We start the week with recode reporting on the news that Grooveshark is shutting down. This should not be terribly surprising, but it is disappointing. VentureBeat reports on the Tesla announcement about Tesla Energy and the new batteries for home and business. I can’t wait to see how this changes the industry. Lastly, Mozilla has decided to deprecate HTTP and will focus on HTTPS. I am not sure if this is entirely a good thing, as encryption may not always be needed.
I will be at a conference for a few days this week, so I cannot promise to be prompt with updates.
As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
