Microsoft leads most of the news due to the announcements at their conference. As reported by The Next Web, they announced that developers will be able to reuse their Android code to bring apps to Windows 10. Having a bridge between ecosystems should help drive the availability of apps. Also reported by The Next Web, Microsoft announced that developers will be able to convert their iOS apps to Windows 10. This sounds more like a translation of Objective C to a target language, but it is another great step forward.
