From the development perspective, Twitter ending its partnership with DataSift does not seem like a big deal. However, this shows the fragility of any partnership with large social sites. If you are building a business based on social APIs, be very careful and have a backup plan. The security section has a few good articles as well, especially the article about China’s Great Cannon, which hopefully does not get aimed at your site.
