Geek Reading January 25, 2016

There are a lot of good articles today, so set aside some time for reading. Leading the day we have TechCrunch reporting on the Docker acquisition of Unikernel Systems. It will be interesting to see how Docker uses the technology. Kaggle introduced Kaggle Datasets, so you can review and use some of the datasets from past competitions. There are not a lot to start, but they are supposed to increase over time. GM announced Maven, their take on car-sharing services. You need to read more about it to get a full understanding of what GM is planning, it is much bigger than just car sharing. On the fun side of things, XKCD’s What If has a great post on a focused Sunbeam.

As always, enjoy today’s items, and please participate in the discussions on these sites.
