  1. What’s really encouraging is that I’m hearing the benefits of internal social networking not just from companies based on knowledge workers but also from sectors like retail, which is really exciting IMO. But there are still real challenges.

      I was surprised when I started hearing the same things. I have been skeptical due to the flops of corporate wikis and other attempts at collaboration. That is not to say that all collaborative initiatives had failed, just that the success rate was not nearly as high as anyone would like.

  2. Considering the benefits its really safe to say that the internal social networking will be part of every well organized structure, normally with the critical number of participants.
