Well, I try to mix comedy with truth when I’m being brutally honest

But this is the reason why I don’t subscribe to TC (I actually would say I hate TC), Mashable, AllThingsD, Gizmodo, etc.

I follow The Inquisitr (disclosure: I write for them about once a week) because, as you noted, they tend to be more realistic. *If* they cover crap like the @ Facebook or Google Flip, it’s usually without the echo chamber view – and when they don’t write about it, I usually don’t want to hear about it.

I got out of “the game” two years ago because it pissed me off, and it’s only gotten worse since then.

Glad I could make you laugh though!

Twitter, Google, and Facebook all have the same echo chamber PR channels. Every small move, no matter how sucky and random (like @ on Facebook), gets blown into “OMG LOL L00K @ DA GR8NESS!” by a bunch of blowhards that don’t even typically understand the topics they’re writing about.

It’s sickening.
