My guess is that Javascript and AJAX get lumped into other things like JQuery, Prototype and other frameworks. The main problem is that I can not prove that.</description>

I was surprised that Perl had basically the same results as C#. The surprise regarding the other languages was more because of the hype you hear for the others. Personally, I see perl at most companies in some way.</description>
