I did not talk about whether you should belong to one or which one to be on. I totally agree with you as well. You should belong to some, even if it is just to try it. I am active on LinkedIn, and I think it is very useful especially in the IT world.</description>

Getting out there and networking is key to success. This is what all players in both Social Media and Social networks will tell you. I had my father &quot;Google&quot; my screen name the other day and he was surprised to see that I was almost everywhere. He sees that certain groups I run in have certain influences in a few sites. I tell people if you are not networking in the digital age then you are behind the times. Linked-In can land you with new career opportunities. Myspace and Facebook could either hurt or help you, depending on the content of your page. Watch yourself as you network, it is a dog eat dog world.</description>
